Cori Pedroncelli
I am a third year chemistry student from Austin, Texas. I have experience as a teacher's assistant for a chemistry class, as well as some experience in a research lab pertaining to DNA curtains using microfluidics. Through NEXT I am gaining experience working in an analytical chemistry research lab. After graduation I plan to pursue a career in either research or chemistry education.
Contribution to NEXT
I am a student research intern working under the direction of Dr. Kim Pamplin on the Chemical Analysis team.
What you like about NEXT?
I really enjoy the opportunity to get research experience in a lab, where I am faced with different challenges that allow me to improve and expand my skills, both chemistry related and otherwise. Much of what I do for NEXT I did not learn in a classroom setting, so being a part of this project presents me with a vast amount of new knowledge.
