NEXT LAB Student Internships

NEXT Summer Internship

The NEXT Lab (Nuclear Energy eXperimental Testing) at Abilene Christian University is providing global solutions to the world's most critical needs: pure water, clean energy, and cures for cancer. The NEXT Lab Summer Student Internship is designed as a 10- to 12-week program at the NEXT Lab in Abilene, TX. Interns will work 40 hours a week and will be assigned to a research mentor, obtaining real-world experience with the engineers, physicists, chemists, mathematicians, and computer scientists that are building the molten salt research reactor (MSRR). Our interns come from a variety of disciplines in addition to those mentioned above.

Interships begin with a mandatory full-day orientation on May 30, 2023. Summer housing information available by request. For questions or concerns, contact Bicky Tolar.

Apply here by January 31, 2023 to join our team of world-changers.
